Who are we?
Baseline Geotechnical was founded in July 2018 by Principal Engineering Geologist Cameron Lines. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry and having spent fifteen of those working for a large multi-disciplinary company, he identified a gap in the market for a small firm focussed on providing specialist geotechnical advice into the extractives and construction sectors.
The vision behind launching Baseline Geotechnical was simple. A small, niche firm of geotechnical specialists, who can focus on what is important - working with our clients to provide geotechnical solutions that support their projects. The foundation of our business is understanding our clients’ business and efficiently providing the expertise they need. We focus on mid-range projects that we consider are not currently being well serviced by large multi-disciplinary companies.
We believe that business growth should never compromise our fundamental goals "Expertise, Quality, Responsiveness and Delivery". We will only consider growing the business where there is a clear long-term client need and we can supplement our existing staff with high quality, geotechnical expertise.
To borrow an old boxing analogy... we may be small but we punch above our weight.
